Ok, so I know this news is mad late, but incase you didn’t know, Aly & AJ have changed their band name to 78violet.

All though they never really were officially announced a couple, everyone knew that Demi Lovato and Trace Cyrus were a thing. Well according to their recent twitter posts, they seem to have broken up. What do you think?

Disney has acquired screen rights to the young adult novel “Wings” and will develop the bestselling Aprilynne Pike title as a star vehicle for Miley Cyrus.

Temple Hill partners Marty Bowen and Wick Godfrey will produce. Tish Cyrus will be executive producer. It’s Temple Hill’s first foray into supernatural fare since “Twilight.”

Pic will be developed for Cyrus to play Laurel, a 15-year-old who grows up sheltered and home-schooled in a small town. Adjusting to a big high school is difficult, and her suspicion that she’s not like the other kids becomes a reality when she sprouts a pair of wings and learns that she’s a fairy. Published in May, the novel is the first of a planned four-book series.

The deal continues Disney’s relationship with Cyrus beyond “Hannah Montana.” She is currently shooting “The Last Song,” a Julie Anne Robinson-directed adaptation of the novel that Nicholas Sparks wrote as a vehicle for Cyrus. Sparks wrote the script with Jeff Van Wie.

Today, yet another celebrity died. He’s not the most famous person ever, but I know you’ve seen him. Billy Mays passed away this morning. You know him from oxy clean commercials and just about any other annoying commercial that’s selling something. Rest in peace, Mr. Mays. I’ll miss your energetic little commercials.

Camilla Belle will star as Mary the mother of Jesus Christ in new faith-based film Mary Mother of Christ. Jonathan Rhys Meyers will take on the double role of Gabriel and Lucifer, Peter O’Toole is set as Symeon, while Al Pacino & Jessica Lange are being sought for the roles of Herod and Anna the Prophetess.

Benedict Fitzgerald, who co-wrote Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ, wrote the screenplay. Producer Mary Aloe said: ‘This is not a Christmas movie. This is a part of Mary’s life that has never been shown on the big screen before.

It takes us through Mary’s youth, young love, her life as a new mother and the triumph through the absolute terror of Herod the Great’s reign. It’s truly a story of real female empowerment.’ Film opens April 2, 2010, AKA Good Friday.
